If your idea of a great vacation includes warm Caribbean water, colorful coral reefs, tropical sunshine, and just the right amount of adventure, this Belize women’s adventure tour was made for you.
Imagine waking up in an oceanfront cabana on a private island, grabbing your mask and fins, and heading out by boat to explore one of the most spectacular reef systems in the world. Spend your days snorkeling or scuba diving among tropical fish, rays, sea turtles, colorful corals, and dramatic underwater landscapes—including Belize’s legendary Great Blue Hole.
And you don’t have to be a hardcore adventurer to experience it. This is an active, moderate adventure designed for women who love being outside, feel comfortable in the water, and want to experience Belize rather than simply vacation there. Choose snorkeling or scuba diving, enjoy plenty of time to relax between adventures, and share the experience with a welcoming group of women who are excited to be there, too.
After seven nights surrounded by the Caribbean, trade turquoise water for lush rainforest. Float through an ancient cave system, explore Maya ruins, experience the jungle after dark, and tube down the Macal River before returning to your rainforest eco-lodge.
Come discover Belize from reef to rainforest—and return home with a few more stories to tell and a much longer list of places you want to explore next.

Welcome to Belize! After arriving in Belize City, we’ll transfer to the marina and board a boat for a 1-hour-and-45-minute ride across the Caribbean Sea to our remote island home. Settle into your oceanfront Villas, enjoy dinner together, and end your first evening relaxing in a hammock with the warm Caribbean breeze.
Dinner at the palapa-style restaurant upon arrival at the resort.
Today you’ll experience the largest barrier reef system in the Western Hemisphere. Snorkelers will begin with a guided reef tour, while certified divers receive a detailed briefing and complete a checkout dive before exploring Belize’s spectacular underwater world.
Afternoon Snorkeling and Diving
After lunch, we’ll return to the water for another guided adventure. Many of the area’s most beautiful reef sites are only a short boat ride from the island, giving you more time to swim among tropical fish, colorful coral, rays, and other marine life.

Today we will visit three of Belize’s most legendary snorkel and dive sites. Our first stop is The Great Blue Hole, a world-famous natural wonder. Advanced SCUBA divers will descend into its deep, sapphire waters to swim around the massive stalactite formations at 130 feet. The rest of the group will be able to explore this geological marvel while snorkeling above the bubbly coral reef along the rim.

Guided Reef Exploration
By now, getting ready for the water will begin to feel like a familiar rhythm. Snorkelers will enjoy two guided swims over colorful coral gardens, while divers can complete three dives along reef walls and through beautiful coral formations.
Discover a New Side of the Reef
Every site reveals something different. As your confidence grows, you may begin recognizing parrotfish, angelfish, sea turtles, and other species while seeing more clearly how the reef’s many habitats are connected.

Return to the warm Caribbean water for another day of unforgettable snorkeling or diving. Snorkelers will float above shallow reefs filled with swaying sea fans and tropical fish, while divers explore ledges, swim-throughs, and dramatic drop-offs.
See How Much You Have Learned
After several days on the reef, you may be surprised by how much you recognize. Fish that once blended into a colorful crowd will begin to have names, behaviors, and personalities, making each new site even more rewarding.
Relax and Recharge
There is no pressure to fill every free moment. Spend the afternoon enjoying the island however you wish—whether that means swimming, paddling, sharing stories with the group, or doing absolutely nothing.

We will enjoy our last breakfast at the beach before saying goodbye to our island paradise.
Enjoy one final island breakfast before boarding the boat back to the mainland. We’ll trade turquoise water and coral reefs for the rivers, caves, and lush green landscapes of western Belize.
On our way to cave tubing we will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant.
Once we reach the river, walk two miles where we’ll jump into inner tubes and float downstream, weaving in and out of cave systems and gliding past an underground waterfall. With only our headlamps lighting the path, we’ll spot massive stalactites hanging from above, ancient pottery tucked into corners, and even statues of Mayan fertility gods carved into the rock.
After our exhilarating excursion, you'll have time to dry off and change before we continue our journey inland. Once we arrive at the lodge, we will check into our cabins, and then meet for dinner.
Nestled deep in the rainforest along the banks of the Macal River, the ecolodge is surrounded by jungle-covered cliffs and endless green canopy. We will sleep in rustic, but comfortable, cabins that blend into the forest while dining at the on-site restaurant that serves fresh meals prepared from the lodge’s own gardens and farm.
After dark, the jungle comes alive with new sounds and activity. Join a guide for an optional walk in search of nocturnal wildlife, or choose a quiet evening at the lodge if you would rather rest.
Step into the ancient world of the Maya at Cahal Pech, one of Belize’s oldest known settlements. Our guide will lead us through plazas, passageways, temples, and stone staircases while sharing the stories of the people who lived here beginning around 1200 B.C.
Free Time or Sustainability Tour
After lunch, choose what feels best for you. Join a tour of the lodge’s sustainability practices, relax beside the pool, spend time watching birds, or take a well-earned afternoon nap.
Our final Belize adventure is a refreshing float down the Macal River. Local guides will help us navigate gentle cascades and deeper pools as we travel past the sights and sounds of the rainforest toward the lodge.
Farewell Dinner
Tonight we’ll gather for our final dinner and celebrate everything we have experienced—from coral reefs and sea turtles to ancient ruins and jungle rivers. It is a relaxed evening to share stories, laughter, and favorite moments from the journey.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are at the ecolodge.
Final Morning in the Rainforest
Wake to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy breakfast overlooking the river and surrounding forest. Take a final moment to appreciate the beauty of Belize before beginning the journey home.

This tour is a good fit for women who enjoy being active, love the water, and feel comfortable traveling in a tropical environment. It is rated Easy to Moderate—you do not need to be an extreme athlete, but you should arrive prepared for warm, humid weather and active days both on land and in the water.
You should be able to:
Walk up to 3 miles unassisted, including on uneven or rocky terrain
Climb steps and safely navigate docks and beaches
Get into and out of small boats with good balance and mobility in a variety of water conditions
Swim and feel comfortable in deep, open ocean water
Manage waves, currents, and the natural movement of a boat
If you plan to SCUBA dive, you must be certified and have completed at least three logged dives within the 12 months before the trip. Some dive sites require additional experience. Advanced Open Water certification is required to dive the Great Blue Hole.
The final two nights are spent at a comfortable eco-lodge surrounded by the Belizean rainforest. Because the lodge is immersed in nature, you should be comfortable with the possibility of non-biting insects or other small tropical creatures occasionally appearing in or around your cabin.
If you can swim, comfortably walk up to 3 miles, safely board a small boat, and are excited to spend plenty of time in the ocean, this adventure may be a wonderful fit for you.
