Words cannot explain this incredible journey to Mt. Kilimanjaro! Never before have I felt so comfortable and safe outside of my comfort zone. GreenEdventures trip leader, Tracey Seward, was with us every step of the way as a fellow hiker and go to person when we had questions or concerns. The African guides, Fazza and Vitalis were so knowledgeable and organized and made sure we were fed well and hiking at a safe pace as we gained altitude each day. The Porters cared for our every need from transporting everything we needed for sleeping, eating, and overall living in the backcountry for nine days. If you think this trip sounds daunting, it is until you take the first step. If you are well conditioned and ready for an unforgettable adventure, no matter your age, you will not regret taking this trip of a lifetime!

This trip felt like I was visiting another planet. Raw, unadulterated Natural Beauty at its finest. The comradery and easy going flow of the trip was wonderful! Tara, Inga, and Anar couldn't have done it better than they did as our trusty guides and educators. This was indeed the trip of a lifetime. I wouldn't change a thing. I am so very grateful for the expertise involved in making the trip SPECTACULAR!!!

This trip well exceeded my expectations. The organization, sights, and fun were something I will always remember. Lori Anderson was a terrific leader, and Pora was a trustworthy guide. The games at night plus the food were exceptional!!! Green Edventures provided some nice surprises and perks to this trek. I highly recommend trusting them with your next excursion.

East Greenland is my favorite adventure so far! I will definitely sign up for this trip again. The adventure includes pristine mountains, glaciers, fjords, and remote Inuit villages. This trip should be on every nature lovers bucket list. We experienced spectacular weather making all of the activities enjoyable. Worth every penny!

I just returned from a spectacular Green Edventures Iceland Mindfulness & Multi-Sport Women’s trip in June/July. This was my ninth trip with Green Edventures ... and it did not disappoint! Our trip leader, Emily, was wonderful as was our local guide/driver, Thora. Both are caring, personable and fun and do their best to make it a great trip for everyone! I just can’t say enough about the great itinerary. Iceland has so much to offer and this trip had a nice variety of things we did and places we saw including: many beautiful waterfalls, horseback riding, kayaking, hot springs/pools & cold plunges, churches, hiking trails, morning yoga, seals, puffins, eagles, birds/ducks, volcanic caters, snorkeling the Silfra Fissure, geysirs, Fridheimar Tomato Greenhouse/Lunch, local markets, glaciers, icebergs, Black Beach, basalt columns, sea stacks, Blue Lagoon and ice cream! We were blessed with great weather as well, but were prepared with our rain gear if needed! Our accommodations were all comfortable and unique with everything we needed. Our group was fantastic and there was lots of laughing! It was a perfect get away from everything at home for a short while to recharge and enjoy everything Iceland! I’d highly recommend any Green Edventures trips to anyone. Whether you are a solo traveler or have someone to travel with, this is the perfect solution! I’ve made many new friends on each trip I go on. All the GE trips are well-organized and well-planned. Iceland is a beautiful country!

Working with Green Edventures has been an incredible experience. Their Iceland Knitting Tours for women are the perfect blend of culture, creativity, and community. As someone who has seen firsthand how these tours bring women together, it’s clear that the tours are much more than just a knitting experience. They foster deep connections with local artisans, allow participants to engage with Iceland’s beautiful landscapes, and truly embrace the collaborative spirit of knitting. Tara Short and her team make every effort to ensure a sustainable, educational, and enriching journey, leaving every traveler with not only a new skill but also lasting memories. Highly recommended!

I went on an amazing trip with Tara to Baja, Mexico in 2020. This was a dream trip for me being a wildlife lover. It was incredible to be able to swim with whale sharks and sea lions and get up close with gray whales. Camping on the beach was amazing. We had a great group of women and everyone vibed well and all of the tour guides including Tara, Alex and Chabello were so fun, friendly and helpful every step of the way. The food was great at the campsite and at the restaurants we got to try. When our trip plans initially got derailed waiting on a negative Covid test and we had to get a different flight, Tara did everything in her power to accommodate us and make sure we got to enjoy every part of the trip, including setting us up with another whale shark swimming tour after we had missed the initial one with the group, and she spent time waiting for us to finish before leaving for the airport. I definitely recommend Green Edventures, especially the Baja Mexico trip!

I just returned from the Wisconsin Women's Tour and couldn't have asked for a better trip! For me, the amount and type of activity were perfect. Who know there was so much to discover practically in my own backyard?
