I went on the 2025 Iceland Women's BOW Fire, Ice & Northern Lights Tour with Kelly & Inga from November 3rd to November 9th and had the time of my life! It was the absolute best experience I have ever had. This was my first "tour" travel and the first time I've traveled alone. I wasn't sure what to expect. I am so glad I took the chance and booked this trip because it was truly the adventure of a lifetime! I met a wonderful group of women and did things I never thought I would be able to do, all because of Kelly and Inga and those wonderful women! Iceland is a magnificent country to visit if you have the right guides to help you see it, and we certainly did! Oh, and the Northern Lights were absolutely Spectacular! I'm looking forward to my next Green Edventure!

Kelly and Inga are really great leaders and that they helped you do things you never thought you would is such a cool experience to share. Thank you for joining us and I hope you join us again in the future! (Shauna)

The Galapagos and Ecuador tour with Green EdVentures was an amazing trip, and a very competitive cost, with a wide array of activities and better hotel arrangements than the competitors. We did hiking, birding, wildlife adventures, city tours, chocolate tour, cooking class, hot-springs and spa, snorkeling, and boating, tailored to the pace and abilities of the group. We toured 3 islands, experiencing and interacting with wildlife and the local communities first hand. I highly recommend Green EdVentures for your Galapagos and Ecuador trip.

Melanie, Thank you for your detailed review! It is heartwarming to know, even after searching around for women's tours, you landed with Green Edventures! Our goal is to give women a full experience on our tours, and it sounds like our Women's Galapagos Island Explorer tour did just that! I hope that you join us on another Edventure in the near future! This trip was amazing! The itinerary was well planned and the food was outstanding. The waterfalls, glacier exploration, ice caves, and geothermal pools provided the opportunity to absorb the pure beauty of nature and to immerse ourselves into Icelandic culture. Kelly and Inga set a fantastic tone for the group. They not only provided the essential information, they went above and beyond by intentionally seeking to learn where each of us were in our lives. Experiencing the transformation from a group of strangers to a group of friends over the course of a few days, was nothing short of inspirational. I believe the bonds that were forged amongst this group of women will last a lifetime.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We are always thrilled to see expectations exceed! Tour Leader, Kelly, and local Icelandic Guide, Inga really know how to take care of our participants! Your experience is exactly what we hope to see; strangers becoming lifelong friends, and a meaningful experience that goes beyond the tourist hot spots. We hope you are able to join us in the future! Thank you, Anastasia! (Shauna)

Unforgettable Adventure in Peru with Green Edventures! My Green Edventures trip to Peru was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the experience was thoughtful, well-organized, and filled with heart. Our leader Tracey set the tone—kind, thoughtful, and fun, she kept our group connected and cared for, while adding a spark of humor and joy to every day. Guido, with his deep knowledge of Peru’s history and culture, brought ancient sites and local traditions vividly to life. Americo’s patience and huge heart made every hike and challenge feel achievable—his encouragement and care made such a difference. The itinerary was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and connection. Highlights included: Cooking authentic Peruvian dishes in Cusco Exploring the cobblestone streets and vibrant markets of the city Hiking Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain with breathtaking 360° views Visiting Chinchero, Moray, and the salt mines of Maras The once-in-a-lifetime hike along the Inca Trail, arriving at Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate What truly pushed this trip over the top, though, was the group of incredible women I shared it with—smart, kind, and adventurous souls who made every day even more fun. This was more than a trip; it was an experience that blended history, nature, community, and personal growth. I left Peru with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deep appreciation for the Green Edventures way of travel. Highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants a meaningful, well-guided, and joyful adventure in Peru!

Working with Green Edventures has been an incredible experience. Their Iceland Knitting Tours for women are the perfect blend of culture, creativity, and community. As someone who has seen firsthand how these tours bring women together, it’s clear that the tours are much more than just a knitting experience. They foster deep connections with local artisans, allow participants to engage with Iceland’s beautiful landscapes, and truly embrace the collaborative spirit of knitting. Tara Short and her team make every effort to ensure a sustainable, educational, and enriching journey, leaving every traveler with not only a new skill but also lasting memories. Highly recommended!

I went on an amazing trip with Tara to Baja, Mexico in 2020. This was a dream trip for me being a wildlife lover. It was incredible to be able to swim with whale sharks and sea lions and get up close with gray whales. Camping on the beach was amazing. We had a great group of women and everyone vibed well and all of the tour guides including Tara, Alex and Chabello were so fun, friendly and helpful every step of the way. The food was great at the campsite and at the restaurants we got to try. When our trip plans initially got derailed waiting on a negative Covid test and we had to get a different flight, Tara did everything in her power to accommodate us and make sure we got to enjoy every part of the trip, including setting us up with another whale shark swimming tour after we had missed the initial one with the group, and she spent time waiting for us to finish before leaving for the airport. I definitely recommend Green Edventures, especially the Baja Mexico trip!
