This was my third time to Iceland with Green Edventures. Each time I have gone with Green Edventures and it has been very different and spectacular. I will be making this a regular event in my travels.

Super enjoyable. Learned lots about knitting. Bergros was so talented and I appreciated being in her home. The Iceland landscape was so interesting. Loved our stops at waterfalls, especially Dynjandi.. that was my absolute favorite partnof the trip. Well organized trip

Full of daily adventures in the Westfjords! Green Edventures, Tara Short put together an incredible trip full of history, excellent food, beautiful lodgings and of course, knitting! Inga and Bergros were the highest caliber of experts in logistics, knitting and FUN! The people I met have become my new knitting tribe. The landscape and history of Iceland was proudly shared by Inga and Bergros. I learned so much and felt safe and well cared for the entire time. A trip of a lifetime with fun, flexible women. If you don't travel to Iceland with Tara, Bergros and Inga to knit and experience the power of this place, you have missed the experience of a lifetime.

Unforgettable Adventure in Peru with Green Edventures! My Green Edventures trip to Peru was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the experience was thoughtful, well-organized, and filled with heart. Our leader Tracey set the tone—kind, thoughtful, and fun, she kept our group connected and cared for, while adding a spark of humor and joy to every day. Guido, with his deep knowledge of Peru’s history and culture, brought ancient sites and local traditions vividly to life. Americo’s patience and huge heart made every hike and challenge feel achievable—his encouragement and care made such a difference. The itinerary was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and connection. Highlights included: Cooking authentic Peruvian dishes in Cusco Exploring the cobblestone streets and vibrant markets of the city Hiking Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain with breathtaking 360° views Visiting Chinchero, Moray, and the salt mines of Maras The once-in-a-lifetime hike along the Inca Trail, arriving at Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate What truly pushed this trip over the top, though, was the group of incredible women I shared it with—smart, kind, and adventurous souls who made every day even more fun. This was more than a trip; it was an experience that blended history, nature, community, and personal growth. I left Peru with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deep appreciation for the Green Edventures way of travel. Highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants a meaningful, well-guided, and joyful adventure in Peru!

Working with Green Edventures has been an incredible experience. Their Iceland Knitting Tours for women are the perfect blend of culture, creativity, and community. As someone who has seen firsthand how these tours bring women together, it’s clear that the tours are much more than just a knitting experience. They foster deep connections with local artisans, allow participants to engage with Iceland’s beautiful landscapes, and truly embrace the collaborative spirit of knitting. Tara Short and her team make every effort to ensure a sustainable, educational, and enriching journey, leaving every traveler with not only a new skill but also lasting memories. Highly recommended!

I went on an amazing trip with Tara to Baja, Mexico in 2020. This was a dream trip for me being a wildlife lover. It was incredible to be able to swim with whale sharks and sea lions and get up close with gray whales. Camping on the beach was amazing. We had a great group of women and everyone vibed well and all of the tour guides including Tara, Alex and Chabello were so fun, friendly and helpful every step of the way. The food was great at the campsite and at the restaurants we got to try. When our trip plans initially got derailed waiting on a negative Covid test and we had to get a different flight, Tara did everything in her power to accommodate us and make sure we got to enjoy every part of the trip, including setting us up with another whale shark swimming tour after we had missed the initial one with the group, and she spent time waiting for us to finish before leaving for the airport. I definitely recommend Green Edventures, especially the Baja Mexico trip!
