Great time and people! The trip had a great variety of activities from touring a wool plant to viewing seals.

Fantastic experience! The trip was all that I had hoped for. From the pre-trip info, help with travel arrangements and the actual trip. The well thought out itinerary of Uganda showed us "The Pearl of Africa" to the fullest. Our local guides, Paul from Journeys Uganda and guide Eriab Kalele did an amazing job of finding and showing us the Big 5 and so much, much more. They helped immerse us in the culture of their people and truly seemed to enjoy sharing their country. Seeing the chimps and mountain gorillas was such a bonus. Not many other countries in Africa can you get so much diversity. Thank you to the Green Edventures team for putting together this once in my lifetime adventure!

This trip exceeded my expectations! The organization was top notch, from trip leader Tracey to local guides Guido and Americo. I learned so much about the Peruvian culture. All of the guests were like minded individuals who shared a love for the outdoors and a quest for learning as much as they could about Peru. I highly recommend this Green Edventures trip!

All possible details were considered and taken care of. I loved that I didn’t have to think about arrangements, everything was done. Guides were fantastic and the tour leader had everything under control. The activities were fun and informational. The hike to Machu Picchu was amazing. Our group ranged from ages 35-70 and all completed the challenging trail. I highly recommend Green Edventures.

Traveling with Tara Short and Green Edventures is an amazing experience. From the booking to preparation, and the trip itself you could not ask for more! When things happen Tara is able to pivot, plan and prepare for the next step. I must say things rarely happen due to Tara’s amazing travel planning. Would recommend and do recommend to friends and strangers alike! Waiting in airports people ask and we talk about the amazing trips! Tanzania was an experience not to be missed!!!!!

Working with Green Edventures has been an incredible experience. Their Iceland Knitting Tours for women are the perfect blend of culture, creativity, and community. As someone who has seen firsthand how these tours bring women together, it’s clear that the tours are much more than just a knitting experience. They foster deep connections with local artisans, allow participants to engage with Iceland’s beautiful landscapes, and truly embrace the collaborative spirit of knitting. Tara Short and her team make every effort to ensure a sustainable, educational, and enriching journey, leaving every traveler with not only a new skill but also lasting memories. Highly recommended!

I went on an amazing trip with Tara to Baja, Mexico in 2020. This was a dream trip for me being a wildlife lover. It was incredible to be able to swim with whale sharks and sea lions and get up close with gray whales. Camping on the beach was amazing. We had a great group of women and everyone vibed well and all of the tour guides including Tara, Alex and Chabello were so fun, friendly and helpful every step of the way. The food was great at the campsite and at the restaurants we got to try. When our trip plans initially got derailed waiting on a negative Covid test and we had to get a different flight, Tara did everything in her power to accommodate us and make sure we got to enjoy every part of the trip, including setting us up with another whale shark swimming tour after we had missed the initial one with the group, and she spent time waiting for us to finish before leaving for the airport. I definitely recommend Green Edventures, especially the Baja Mexico trip!

I just returned from the Wisconsin Women's Tour and couldn't have asked for a better trip! For me, the amount and type of activity were perfect. Who know there was so much to discover practically in my own backyard?
