About your trip

The moment you step onto the porch of your bungalow and gaze off into the blue sea flanked by green hills of palms, you will understand why nature-seekers come to Roatan to get away from it all.

Our home for the week is Anthony's Key Resort. An all-inclusive dive resort with pool, spa, full bar, and more. Don't let the word "resort" fool you. Here, there are no high rises with floors of cold, cookie cutter hotel rooms. Instead, there is a village of wooden bungalows cocooned in lush palms with adventure right outside your door.

Below the waterline, the resort is hugged by the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the largest barrier reef in the northern hemisphere. From the time you plunge into the warm life-filled salty sea, you will wish you had gills to stay forever.  It’s home to thick, vibrant coral, playful dolphins, and varied marine life. Those who want to see the ocean at night, can take a guided night snorkel in search of nocturnal creatures like octopuses!

The reef system here is fabulous for both snorkelers and divers on the same boat. Snorkelers can float over the shallow reef while divers can descend deeper along the reef wall.

Near the key is a place where participants will spend a few hours interacting with the resident dolphins including a free swim with the pod! You will be surrounded by dolphins that choose how they interact with you. You will feel their chirps and clicks vibrating through the water, and hear the buzzing sounds they make as they talk to each other!

Topside, island tours will get you off property and introduce you to some of the local culture and sites like seaside towns and Maya Key. There will be visits to two different animal sanctuaries where will you will meet sloths and monkeys. A exciting adventure will be a thrilling zip line through the rainforest tree tops.

This fun-filled week also has time for rest and relaxation during your free time. Swing in a hammock on your oceanfront deck, and feel the sea breezes. Enjoy the use of paddle boards and kayaks. Visit the spa for a massage.

This trip is open to women of all ages 18 years or older. Participants must know how to swim.

If you would like to SCUBA add the Certified SCUBA add-on at no extra cost. Rental gear is not included.
