Once you reach Uhuru Peak at the top of Kilimanjaro - it is surreal. With your arms outstretched for a celebratory photo on the Roof of Africa, you will feel a blend of exhaustion, exhilaration, and the realization that if you can do this, you can do anything!
Ladies who adventure, are you seeking a challenging event that combines a dream destination with a bucket-list, brag worthy experience? Join our women's team and touch the Roof of Africa.
Spend 9 days traversing trails on mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro. Our path is the lesser traveled Northern Circuit Trail. The Northern Circuit is the longest and most gradual route to take. Therefore, It has a high summit success rate because of its acclimatization profile.
The Northern Circuit is a better option for those who do not have experience with high altitude hiking, and for those who just want to enjoy the journey, while striving to reach the destination. The path is approximately 60 miles over 9 days. It ascends the more remote western slope, then travels north of the peak to approach it from the east. You descend the southeastern slope.
You will pass through four ecozones: tropical forest, moorland, alpine desert, and arctic summit. With this you will experience hot tropical weather to below freezing nights. Our camps are in scenic locations. Clear skies reveal billions of stars above us, and below us endless sea of white clouds blanketing the Serengeti below. Kibo Peak is always in view, and a daily reminder of our ultimate goal.

There are 7 routes to the summit on Kilimanjaro. Lemosho is the second busiest, and the Northern Circuit is the less traveled and more quiet. The route approaches the summit from the west via the Londorossi Gate and one of the most remote quarters of the region.
Lemosho Route and Northern Circuit hikers share the same the same trail from day 1-3. Then the two diverge, Lemosho to the south and the North Circuit to the North. The North Circuit meet up with the other trails on days 8 & 9.
The Northern Circuit route is the longest of the standard routes and is without doubt the most beautiful. Expect some of the most extraordinary scenery anywhere in Africa, with well preserved forests, sweeping moorland, high desert, and arctic summit.
It offers easy walking days and plenty of opportunity for altitude adjustment, and quieter trails and campsites.
