Our local guide was very personable, knowledgeable and informative. Unfortunately the cave was too unsafe for us to view. Dissapointing, but she served a nice lunch and provided great history and geology lessons. Lovely spot.

Hiking the fjords in East Greenland is truly a one of a kind adventure. Green Edventures, as always, has put together an extraordinary itinerary in untouched, remote and some of the most pristine wilderness remaining on the globe. The guide and leaders were top of the top. The women who shared this journey climbed, laughed, challenged themselves and did everything with humor and grace. It is a challenging hike for those who would like to embark on this journey; however, you will be rewarded with a lifetime of memory. The haunting crack of icebergs in the night, crinkled voice of the feathery legged ptarmigan, and a sun that does not surrender.

I recently returned from the Iceland Eclipse Multisport Trip with Green Edventures 🇮🇸, and I can honestly say this was the most fantastic travel experience of my life! This was my first-ever solo travel experience, and I began the adventure as a solo traveler and ended it with 14 new adventure buddies and what I truly believe will be lifelong friendships. ❤️ Tara, our group organizer and leader, was absolutely fantastic. She made a genuine effort to get to know each of us individually, which made the entire experience feel so personal and welcoming. Every activity was incredibly well organized, varied, and thoughtfully planned. Traveling around Iceland was completely seamless. Tara and Inga’s knowledge of Iceland was a huge part of what made this trip so exceptional. I felt like a VIP, getting to experience incredible off-the-beaten-path sights, adventures, and activities that I never would have discovered on my own. One of my biggest takeaways is this: if you’re considering traveling with Green Edventures but are hesitant to go solo, DO IT! You’ll never really feel alone. Your adventure buddies become your travel family, and no one gets left behind. I’m already looking forward to traveling with Green Edventures again. In all of my decades of hiking, Greenland was the most challenging and most rewarding! Our guide, Helga Maria, literally created the trail as we hiked over rocks and boulders billions of years old. The air was pure and the water cold and delicious, straight from the river - no filtering necessary! Everywhere you looked there was raw beauty, from glaciers to icebergs, mountains to sky. The group was outrageously wonderful - we laughed, moaned and groaned but never once regretted the journey we took together. Once again, GreenEdventures staff prepared us for the worst and delivered the best! Cynthia, you are an AWESOME trip leader! Can't wait for our next Edventure together! Edna Baden
