Very challenging track since no trail in place with difficult footing. Our guide was superb and group was exceptionally cohesive. Lack of water at some camp sites and running out of propane added unnecessary stress. Not a trip for many people but a good adventure. Terrain was the biggest challenge.

Green Edventures is a group you want to experience Iceland with. From the moment we began our hike, I knew I was with the right group. Inga and Tara are strong experienced leaders who made this hike an experience of a life time. They are fun, encouraging and some how make even the challenging parts of the hike feel relaxed and enjoyable. You will meet so many wonderful people along the way. The group of women I shared the trail with were so much fun. They were supportive and encouraging. It made the experience even more special. And the food! Everything was so delicious-you will not go hungry on this trip. The day we left , we went to a lagoon. It was the perfect way to end the trip in Iceland. I’ve only been home a week since my GreenEdventures Iceland Multisport trip and I’m already checking out options for the next adventure! Tara Short and Inga led the way on this amazing adventure and I loved every minute of it. The food, the culture, the activities, the beautiful scenery…I’d be hard pressed to decide my favorite. This was my second GreenEdventures trip. I’ve got another one booked in February and I’m scoping out the next options! What a fantastic adventure! I did back-to-back Iceland trips with Tara and Ingram with Green EdVentures - starting with the multi-sport, and following that up with the fully-supported women’s Laugavegur hut-to-hut hike. Both adventures were amazing - from the pre-trip preparation to the actual execution. Tara is a consummate professional who goes out of her way to educate participants before and during the trip. We were well-prepared for the challenges, thanks to her expert communication and daily interactions. These two women-only adventures are totally worth the investment - there’s a certain joy in being surrounded and supported by supportive, funny, adventurous like-minded women travelers. I will not travel anywhere in the world without first checking to see if Tara and Green EdVentures offer a trip there!

This was a life changing trip that was unbelievable. The nature and marine life experienced was so much better than expected. The chaperone Aimee Lowe was outstanding.
