The trip to Patagonia looks amazing. I would be interested in this trip for 2028. I know in the meeting we talked about it being in February. If it was in the 2nd half that would work. I do work in Tax and would be finishing up year ending the beginning of February.

I am inspired by the landscape of this hike, in Southern Chili. Having been on previous hiking tours with Green Edventures I am excited to be a participant on this adventure to the O circuit of Patagonia.

The Westfjords Iceland knitting tour was relaxing and inspiring. What a wonderful combination of learning new knitting techniques and exploring a beautiful part of the world. Bergros is a font of knitting knowledge and her design will continue to inspire me. Since the logistics were taken care of by our tour leaders Lori and Inga, we were able to just enjoy. I particularly liked the flexibility to stop and explore when serendipity struck- seals, waterfalls, and horses. And Green Edventures arranged surprises for us along the way.

This trip was an absolute joy, from beginning to end. The accommodations were comfortable but more importantly the tour leader and two knitting instructors were beyond phenomenal. I learned so much about sheep and wool and knitting. The pace of the days was a perfect blend of time knitting and time exploring. Because both of the instructors were from Iceland, we were able to travel to more off the beaten path places, be exposed to other knit designers, dyers, goat farmers, and to experience the sheep roundup which was a high point. The small group size also facilitated a more personal approach and a relaxed pace. I would highly recommend this trip!!

My September 2026 knitting tour with Green Edventures exceeded expectations on every front! Local guides and knitting designer Ingrid and Bergros were beyond generous in sharing their incredible knowledge about Iceland and knitting. And our Green Edventures tour guide Lori seamlessly guided us through every step of our itinerary with humor and grace. We got to see and do so many things that tourists don’t generally get to do, from visiting local artisans and yarn dyers in their homes to eating a homemade lunch of lamb soup at a local farm, to participating in the annual sheep roundup. We saw Northern Lights; we toured wool mills and goat farms; we soaked up Nordic culture and mythology; we relaxed in geothermal springs, and so much more! The highlights of the trip included the hours we spent with Icelandic knitting designer Bergros working on our shawls of myth and magic, the day we spent at Inga’s farm, and getting to know the incredible women who guided us, to hear their stories, and see Iceland through their eyes. This was a life changing experience; I give this trip my highest recommendation!
